Installed a new Bosch double integrated oven this morning – lovely Appliance – Demonstrated it to the customer – explained everything over a second cup of tea. Made sure she got the Enr & FD number for her user book and Warranty card. Oh I don’t need to fill the warranty card in say the customer. I explained – Bosch – 2 years warranty – fill card out send it to them – makes life easier if theres a problem.
Customer not happy 😡 – was sold 4 years extra warranty so she can have 5 years cover !!! She was getting in her car to go back to MFI as I left – she gave me £10.00 quid tip though 😉
Took a stack of biz cards off me and said £10.00 was for spending 10 mins explaining every control and symbol on the oven and the over run on the cooling fan. I was recommended to her from another customer last week – who needs to advertise !!

They do it all the time.
I’ve lost count of the number of customers that I have told that the appliance comes with a two year guarantee, after being robbed of a year on the extended warranty.
The look on their faces is priceless, and I bet the sales guy gets a right earfull 😆 .
