I have a 5 year old cooker hood installed in my house. The house was bought from the builder.
A lamp fitting has failed. The light comes on and then flickers off. Previous posts suggest this is because the contacts are bent and when the lamp heats the contact breaks.
I want to purchase a new lamp fitting. My electrician can’t help with the spare.
The problem is that the manufacturers details displayed on the hood are incomplete. The label is where it should be – on the motor – but none of the codes link to a recognised appliance.
ESpares suggested I try Whirlpool – who said it was not one of their products. They gave me an 01204 number who were also unable to help – they gave me Independent Service Co who said it was made by Technowind Italy but they didn’t recognise the product code and gave the number of Premium Appliance Ltd. Premium searched for over 30 mins and couldn’t find the details.
It is made by Prima. On the appliance manufacturers details it includes SER: 281102 then 0017
PJH
ref Prima Diamonte 90cm Chimney hood
the lamp info
then some icons and the number SCDM00PJ
On the handbook it says 3L10DIAM.1
There is no further information and thus nobody can help.
All I need is a new lamp fitting. I am in desperation – please help!
