I am a new member. I have been reading all the threads relating to Temperature problems with this model. I have found them very useful. I have been through most of the experiences of your subscribers. Fridge at ambient, freezer ok at -22’C, callout Merloni, he de-ices condenser changes thermistors and it works. I now remove the freezer backpanel and de-ice myself, and have done this a number of times succesfully leaving the thermistors alone. Unit recovers for a few months, then fault re-appears. I now have a new symptom. error code E8 appears on display occasionally replacing the freezer temp display. temp of both compartments are normal +5’C and -22’C. confirmed by independent max/min thermometer. if I open fridge door momentarily then E8 disappears and is replaced by -22’C have you any explanation for this. I was an electronic design engineer before I retired and I would find a circuit/wiring diagram of this model very useful in fault finding, where can I lay my hands on one?
