Mistral hotpoint ff72p defrost fridge freezer warming

hi, i have a ff72p mistral hotpoint fridge freezer.

my fridge is reading 24 degrees and freezer -10

fans are working everything is working apart from cooling down.

after defrosting it manual by leaving the doors open, i put back everything in its original state and it has been working like new for 2 days untill now the fridge and the freezer are both warming slightly as in going back to the original problem.

Someone said it maybe the cold control thermostat what it looks like ? is it the yellow or green thermistor ?

ive checked the resistors of the green and yellow thermistors using multimeter by dipping the end of it in hot cup of water and the readings did vary which im assuming they both are working correct ??

ive checked the continuity of the back heater plate thats fine.

ive checked defrost heater using multimeter for continuity and thats fine.

just to confirm what is the cold control thermostat and where is it located and how does it look like an example of a picture would help ive googled it but its showing me the green and yellow thermistors…..?

for some reason its showing E8 on the programmer for the freezer for a day and then following day its not displaying the e8 code…???

from the label shows…TYPE : r134a, serial 67118226 model : FF72P

Just changed yellow thermister yesturday and today frezzer is at -22 and fridge +2 should that be right???

Sounds a bit cold but adjusting the setting should sort it.

Freezer optimal is -18?C.

Fridge optimal is 3-5?C.

I hadit on fast freeze overnight turned it off this morning and its now reading fridge +2 and freezer -22 still

May take a good few hours to normalise.
