It wont be suitable for everyone, but I will give customers a choice of how they pay and price accordingly. You have to work on an extra £3.00 in every £100.00 I appreciate thats expensive on a £500 machine, but on an average £50.00 bill most customers wont object to £1.50 extra. The main thing for me is i’m not paying £35.00 a month rental fee! 😯
Another thing to remember. Some card providers give an extra 12 months warranty on appliances purchased by card. Dont know who provides the service mind?January 31, 2013 at 6:20 pm #389134Twoten

Have you seen iZettle https://www.izettle.com/gb/
For transactions with the chip-card reader, and Visa transactions, the transaction fee
is 2.75{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}.
Manual transactions cost £0.10 + 3.50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}. You only pay for successful transactions. The card reader costs £20, and comes with a £20 voucher which you can use toward transaction fees.
Will work with iOS & Android.
Not tried it myself but am considering it.

Yes there are one or two around after the business. This one suited me especially as I haven’t had to change my phone before I wanted to. Glad I’ve done it, and I’m not tied in if something better appears down the line.
