    Hu Guys,

We have a deal cooking that you may be interested in, the bare bones of it are as follows but they’ll be more as I get it. What we need to know is, how many are interested.

    – Mobile payment terminal that connects to your phone or tablet to process card payments in the field: £50 one off cost per terminal

    – Transaction charge of 2.75{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} per transaction

Now, that gives you a cost of £50 to be enable you to accept credit and debit cards in anyone’s home.

Apart from that the only cost you have is having a phone or connected tablet that most of you will have anyway and the transaction cost.

Here’s the kicker and why we need to know how many are interested, the more members that we can get onboard with this the cheaper the transaction rate gets and I was told that, “if enough of your members are prepared to take it one we can offer a huge discount on that rate”.

What that “huge discount” is, we don’t know yet.

What I can tell you is that this is cheaper than Paypal and others as it stands.

    Re: Mobile Payments

    Well i would be in.
BUT it would depend on how long it takes for the money to hit my bank account. If its payleven well. Im out. I use paypal and all card payments i can pull out as cash or into my bank within about 2 seconds of the customer hitting enter.

It’s a bit chicken and egg stuff, but if the rate was right then I’d be interested.

Money goes in 2-4 working days from payment made.

The thing about Paypal is, they can at will and at any time, withhold funds and you’ve got the issue with their dispute system which is horrid to deal with as almost always they’ll side with the customer and you will lose the money.

It’s great when all is well, utterly horrible when it isn’t.

    Re: Mobile Payments

    Yes, that can be done.

Answer was: “Yes we can do this. How many terminals do they require and will we be contracting with a single entity?

It will however, mean that they have to submit multiple applications online.”

    Do you want a contact?
