Module for FFP187BP – Hotpoint F/F. no power at comp.

Firstly Hi,

I viewed a post with regards to a Hotpoint F/F (FFP187BP). The machine has no power to the compresser, as discussed in the post the m/c needs a module.

It was pointed out that there are two different modules for this m/c (that look identical) and that a serial number would be needed to decide which one is needed.

709210069 was the only other number I could find.

Trouble is, when ordering from connect-distribution, it lists two modules (which differ in price) but has no info relating to which module is for which s.n.

Does anyone have any info on this?

I ended up ordering direct from hotpoint, phone call was very helpful and a lot cheaper that anywhere else i could find (not the phone call – the module :P)

Fitting was easy, two plastic covers hiding two screws, top panel slides forward. Job done.

Whats the difference bettween the two modules available for this model
and how do you tell the right one
connections just lists C00264544 and C00259773
