The part number is Here in your previous thread. 😉
Partfinder is a parts identification DVD, as far as I know you cannot contact it directly. 😀

Hi I ended up getting both pcbs and now im getting f12 error code on the uk whitegoods error code book it says this is no communicartion between the boards for wash m/c is it the same for dryer. I have squeezed the connectors and even put a new set on . Is there some procedure I should follow when fitting new display and module?

F12 is a comms error.
Check connector J9 on module;
• Check wiring between module connector J9 and display;
• Check display connector;

😳 DOH, I wasn’t looking for a base mounted PCB and in my haste missed the smartcard/card reader guff on Partfinder.
Its my age you know. 😥
Might be worth sticking the old console PCB back in to see if it was just the display that was faulty.

Confused now, bmrenr, did you fit a new facia PCB or the main one in the base?
The one in the base has at least five different eeproms or five smartcards and three different modules. 😥

Hi I have fitted both display pcb and base mounted module.I ordered the base mounted module first and fitted it and it did not work so I ordered the display pcb.This is what happens I plug in the m/c and the display flickers for a second and just dies but when I keep the on button pressed f12 appears on the display and the clean filter neon lights up.I have put back on the old base mounted module but the same thing happens . I have not programmed the new module but when the old module is giving the same code is there any need to?

All new modules need to be programmed with smart card and reader.
As there are three different base PCB’s how did you identify the correct one?

I just rang my supplier and gave him the model and s/n of the m/c. I thought the modules came pre programmed. I have heard of these smart cards and readers are they expensive and do you have to get a new one for every module?
Cheers Tom.
