Smart card is a one use only item, usually between £10 and £12.
Card reader is officially priced at just over £88 ex vat. 😯
Part number of card reader is C00252539.Thats why the EMW route is the best way to go. 😉

Cheers Jim already ordered one from my supplier but should the old base module work as it was already programmed.

If the fault was just bad connections or a faulty display unit it should. You could always send it to EMW to test and if it is OK you will then have a spare.
Not had any instances of the LCD display going wrong on dryers but have seen one or two on the washers.

Hi I have just recieved my smart card and reader and followed the user instructions I have inserted the card and reader into the slot provided and connected to the mains but all I am getting is a red light and not green. Should I power on the m/c ?

Never used one personally, just too expensive when EMW/QER are out there.
Hopefully this bump will get you an answer from someone who has used one.Jim.

Hi my supplier had sent me the wrong module and thats why I couldn programme the module . I have since recieved the right module and programmed it but all that happens is when I press the on/off button ON appears in the the display screen and when I select a drying cycle all I get is three beeps when I press the start button. Does anybody have any ideas as to what is wrong now?
