hi got a moffat 3000 at home with an issue. the double oven and grill works but the oven once ignited, (7 out of 10 times lights on its own) stays on verry low flame does not adjust from the control dial. any ideas whats wrong with it or any replacement parts that i can purchase and also if parts are still available in any way.

i have noticed on the oven door there are 4 seal they seem verry worn. could it be down to a pressure issue due to the lack of seal. Thermostat? clogging anywhere?

any help or parts would be great. anny replacement unit ideas as it is an extreemeley unaverage length at 120cm. also is it safe to mount a microwave over a combi oven unit or will it require a dividing shelf to keep heat from rising to a microwave.

i appreciate any info, thanks for your help.

We cannot advise in matters relating to the gas functions of the oven. In all probability this a thermocouple issue – whether or not this is still available as a manufacturers part is debatable at this age.

I suggest that you contact a GasSafe engineer for a proper diagnosis.
