Power to machine no life from PCB board .it’s a pull push door .no release or way of getting the door open from top either . washing stuck in it .how you meant to get door open ? Force it open ?

not a sign of an emergency door release. Which dipsticks design these things

Exactly and am getting grief from Minerva for forcing the door open to get kids school clothes out ..any more grief .from them all be telling them to stick their jobs .where the sun don’t shine 😡

Will this be the case with all these pull push door machines like .the new Hotpoint indesit machine s?if PCB board goes you won’t be able get the door open ?

hotpoint , bosch etc have a manual release at the bottom. pull release with one hand and open door with the other simples

but not montpelier it seems

no not thick just not engineers. have never been out on the road so never see the problems that we get.

Sounds as if it’s not easy for the customer to open it on their own.

Just a thought did you look at the door lock as some of theses machines have the release for the door lock where the manual release attaches

They tell me there’s money in muck!
You should see what I fix for the cheap local rentals trade.
Happy I’m workshop based as I wouldn’t want to see where they come from.

Looks like a Midea but I cant find any info on the type of lock fitted.
