If you have a connect a/c I’m pretty sure the thing you want is on there as (their part no.)Hight Adustment Mechanism (5045173842809). SRP £5.22 (incl VAT) but I can get it at the trade discount price of £4.96 (incl. VAT). Whoopee!

i have contacted morphy richards but n o luck i have tried a height ajustment part but thats not the part needed. can you look into it please? i am not wanting to scrap the hoover its not very old ( unlike the customer who owns it ) Thanks

i dont think thats it as it sounds like the dial on the lower front of the cleaner to controll the height of the brushroller this fits onto the part mike described both of these parts i have had and tried but unable to get hold of the foot rekease button 😥
