    I’m trying to replace the mains flex on a MR 40420 Iron. I haven’t seen these connectors before and don’t want to force it. Can anyone advise how to remove the neutral and earth so I can fit a new flex? Thanks.

    Small electricians screwdriver to open the clamped jaws whilst you withdraw the flex is all that is required. Take care not to damage the jaws otherwise they won’t close (clamp) to new wire going in!
