    Hi. I currently have an integrated CDA fridge freezer. It struggles to cool food and as such i have decided that I would like to replace it. The only 3 brands which fit the door size configuration are Smeg, AEG and Whirlpool. I would like to buy a high quality brand as we use it continuously and it is left on 365 days a year. Unfortunately I have no idea whatsoever which of the above 3 brands are best. Any personal opnions on which is the best quality of the 3 would be seriously appreciated,

    Liebherr should have a model to fit your unit and that personally is the best make available especially for built in.

    Hi,

    Whirlpool don’t really have the best build quality, but they also aren’t the worst. Smeg are good for build quality, but are rather basic in terms of the options and the price. I have not heard anything good or bad about AEG

    If going for a smeg then opt for a GORENJE as smeg don’t actually manufacture refrigeration. Gorenje is one of europes largest refrigeration manufacturer.

    Most Smeg machines are just Gorenje in a fancy dress, with a higher price. 😉

    AEG is just a rebranded Electrolux Group clone, Zanussi, AEG, Tricity Bendix…

    many thanks to all for the advice. I’ll check out the Liebherr for fit and as a second option go for Gorenje, cheers Andy

    Well both Gorenje and liebherr offer units that will work with my cupboard door dimensions. The Liebherr cheapest price I could find = £1500. The Gorenje £429. So no way I can stretch to an extra £1000 and from what i read here the Gorenje is just as good as a Smeg, AEG or Whirlpool ??? Just have to convince the wife who has actually heard of the latter 3 that a Gorenje is NOT a Beko in disguise !!!

    Gorenje make the Smeg refrigeration and then Smeg put there badge on them.Gorenje also come with a 5 yr warranty as a integrated unit if the offer is still valid
