motor run capacitors

    I’m a trade newby and need to replace a capacitor.I understand what they do, store a charge and adjust the phase to provide max torque to the motor, but all replacements caps seem to have four terminals and the oem seem to have two.Is it ok just to use the first two terinals that you get continuity from?Apologies if this is a daft question!

    Diagonally opposite terminals will be ok.
