Multi airflow fan noise on a Bosch KGN34X61

Hi, I hope someone can help me as the noise from the multi airflow unit is driving me crazy! It stops when I open the fridge section door and then starts again after a few seconds of closing the door. It sounds like a fan catching something as it spins. I’d like to get the unit apart to have a look but I am worried I’ll break something in the process. Does anyone know what the problem could be and a fix please?

fan is hitting ice that has built up behind the cover, if its still under the 2 year warranty then call in bosch, as a temporary fix turn off for 48 hours with door open and put a towel in the bottom of the freezer to soak up melted ice.

Excellent, thanks for the advice. I didn’t fill in the form that came with it for the extra years cover – or doesn’t this matter? I feel a bit silly now of course :rolls:

Gave Bosch a call and an engineer is coming out Tuesday. The lady on the phone seemed to know the problem! It’s still under warranty so it’s all good.
