    Hi Guys,

Hopefully lily this isn’t a complete disaster!

I organised a ‘fixed price repair’ as the machine had started to wash poorly. The diagnosing I did suggested the top spray arm was no longer working. I did the usual checks on blockages etc and found nothing. NO FAULT CODES WERE PRESENT.

They decided it was the control board in the bottom RHS.

They eventually came and replaced the board but the bloke who arrived was about as useless as it’s possible to be, he said he had never replace one and that it was mostly guess work where the wires went!!

Needless to say, the machine is now in a worse state than when it started. When you start a programme it stops after about 3 minutes and displays E14 and shuts down after 1 minutes.

If you start a programme then cancel it, after the 1 min reset time period it displays E11.

The company (Knowhow!!) have offered me my money back, but that just leaves me with a machine that works worse than when they touched it.

I’m hoping it’s just a case that he’s put the wires in on the board wrong/ misaligned which is possible if what I’ve found on google is true!

Can anyone offer any guidance on what to check, and the order that the wires belong in/ colours. (I tried to remove the board but couldn’t tease it out!)

Grateful for any advice anyone can offer!

    Re: Multiple Faults on Bosch SMS69L22GB E14 & E11

E14 is a water flow device detection error and E11 is a thermostat problem. Both errors would show shortly after the start of any programme if a fault with those devices were present. However those errors could also display if there were poor wiring connections to and from the main control module. So logically thinking if they were not present before the module was replaced that theory may well be justified.

Non of the above have any connection to your original complaint.
