    G’day,

First thanks for your assistance. Using existing posts on this forum I have successfully diagnosed a failed ‘Out Of Balance’ micro and replaced it. Shortly afterwards the ‘Start’ switch on the board stopped working. I swapped it with the ‘Heavy Duty’ switch as I rarely use that selection but about 6 weeks later it has blown again. As a temporary measure I have connected a heavy duty switch via a couple of wires. Not ideal, but allows the family washing to be done.

Any ideas why it would chew through these switches. Also I have noticed that I can’t seem to get into the diagnostics in the manner mentioned in the sticky note. I’m sure that it sort of worked when I had the OOB micro problem but this time round all I got when holding ‘Temp Down’ and ‘Power’ was no beeps, 1 rinse light and 1 water level light.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Switches just wear over time Start Switch usually first to go as most often used If the touch panel is Cracked this can allow moisture into the switches
