    Hi,

Basically my Neff S5443X1GB/29 stopped heating the water. We are due to move in the next few months so just needed something to tide us over.

I have purchased a second hand Bosch SHV43A03GB. The only fault with the machine is a loud motor.

Got it all plumbed in tonight and just after its finished filling with water there is a loud motor type sound. This did reduce loads after about 30 seconds.

Draining the water isn’t a problem and is quiet so its not the pump that is causing the problem.

Two questions really. What motor could be causing this noise?
and if it turns into a bit of a problem am I able to use the motor from my old machine?

    Thanks everyone.

The noise is most likely the main circulation pump and can happen
    for a variety of reasons.
The two machines are very similar in design but have different part
    numbers for the motors
imho a main motor change is not an average DIY job.
