hi can anyone help i have gone to use it today and it will not heat up the fan is not going round and the light is not on. any ideas? My oven does not have ant timer modes just a dial to turn for the amount of time before the bell sounds but this does not effect the oven going on or off. thanks

The first thing you need to check is the supply…most have a dedicated isolation switch (big red switch on a white box) which will be somewhere near the oven, if not on the wall then in a cupboard perhaps where they sometimes get inadvertantly knocked and switched off.

Sometimes, single ovens have a conventional plug going into a socket outlet (which again will be somewhere near the oven). If that’s the case you can check the socket by plugging another item into it to see if that works. If it does then you might like to check the fuse in the plugtop, and the wiring while you are there?

Failing the above then it’s time for an engineer really:?

You could try the link below to see if there’s an engineer near you. 😉

as above check the supply, but if there has been a serious fault on the oven go back to the main fuse box, a cooker cicuit should have a dedicated fuse/trip marked on the cover. if not the fuse position should be rated at 30amps. depends if you have the old hardwired fuse or the newer rcd box. 30 amp will be marked on the fuce.trip…you may need a torch to see the numbers/letters
