First time i’ve needed to post but as i’ve got valuable info from here before, here goes!

Just been given the table top dishwasher above, it plumbed in ok and seems to work but I have no instruction manual for it. I was wondering if anyone knows what washer powder I should use and where to put it.

All I can see are the salt compartment (pain to get to on the right hand side), a screw top lid on the door (which I tried putting Finish powder in but it went nowhere) and a small ‘hole’ for want of a better description that I put finisher in. The guy who gave it me said he used powerball tabs and no salt but I have no idea where to put them, any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Hi Baz,

Had this dishwasher for a fair while now (1.5 years) and it’s served us well.

You correctly identified the salt compartment under the screw cap.

If you look in the back of the door on the left hand side of the machine as you face it you will notice a slightly recessed rounded rectangle.

Bung your washing powder, or a dishwasher tablet, into this “trench”! When you close the door, the powder will just fall down into the machine – same with the tablet.

That’s all there is to it – simple and rudimentary, but it seems to work.

    Cheers,

    Mark.
