Wrote off a very old Hoover washer last week and was asked for my opinion on what to replace it with.
Went through the list (short) and left a flyer for ISE,went home and waited for the call.
Customer rang yesterday “will you come and install my new washer”.
So she had been to Currys and bought a Samsung silver nano particle whatyamacallit washer and the currys man wouldn’t install it.
So while I was cutting holes in the cupboard to pass the plug through I tried to explain what the silver nano thingy was and how it works.
Oh she says after the science lesson “I thought it was just the colour of the machine!”

It’s a load of rubbish. 😉

If you read the news and the post I made the other day about it there’s serious concerns over damage caused by the silver particulates in the water supply.

I also had a conversation not so long after the initial launch with a lab dude and, when asked if it was any good, his reply was…

In the latest edition of a Squash magazine I read, there is an advert for a racket stating, ‘Slazenger’s nano process’ and the label on the racket says NANO Technology. WTF. 😕
