ParticipantI’ve just moved into a house where the previous owners had a Nardi Oven installed. It’s 90cm, so would expect it to take a little longer than usual to heat up, but it took over an hour to just get to 140 degrees!!
The grill element is also not working – unless that takes ages also.
Can someone give me some guidance on why it might be taking so long to heat up, and how easy it is to repair the grill element.

KeymasterHas it got two fan elements in it as some of the 90cm machines do have?

I believe so – I presume one is perhaps not working? How would I find out?

I should probably use my brain here…..I’ll test one at a time as I believe there’s a setting to use the top fan element only or both.
Any idea on the grill element?November 29, 2006 at 10:06 am #196555kwatt
KeymasterHi Perksy,
Give me a model number and I’ll see what I can find out for you.

The model is EK95583AX.
I did some trial and error experiments last night, and the back and top heating element are working but couldn’t get the bottom one to work.
If that is the only problem, is it easy to change?

The lower element has been changed on this model during production, you need to check the shape of the old one, one has terminals in the centre and the other the terminals are set to one side, the side terminal one is here:
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … cts_id=382
The one with terminals in the centre is part number 040125009902R which is £32.59 inc VAT and carriage, an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk if this one is required please 🙂

I had a look last night and the lower element has blown – so I’ll get that replaced.
With regards to the grill, any ideas why that isn’t working?
