Hi all,

I have the above oven and problem I have with it is that the fan runs but the oven does not reach the desired temprature. The thermastat light comes on when we turn the heat up, but the oven never does reach the heat we select.
Any ideas much appreciated.

Hi

it sounds very much like the element has failed in the main oven.

have a look at repairs @ to see if there is a engineer near to you.

Thanks for the info r600a, Beofre I arrange for an engineer, I would like to inspect the element for loose connection. WOuld you know what panal the element is behind?

It would be very very doubtful that the connection would be loose and depending on the original manufacturer depends on what you need to remove ect.

I am 99 {e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure that it willbe the element but as it involves access to electrical parts I would advise an engineer visit.

Can I not fit the element myself? I am an engineer by trade. Although I have not worked on ovens before, Im sure it cant be that difficult.

It’s around the fan at the back Froomer.

Disconnect the oven from the power before attempting repair please :zap: and if you’re unsure, follow Bryan’s advice and ask an engineer to carry out the repair for you 😀

The fan is behind a panal on the inside of the oven. Do you mean the the element is around the Fan motor behind the back panal and insulation?
