NEB Verona oven getting too hot to touch on the outside

Hi, hope someone here can point me in the direction of what might be wrong with an oven of mine. It’s in a buy-to-let property of mine and I went round the other day to have a look at what’s going on with it. Basically when she’s used the oven for a while, like doing baked potatoes, it’s getting very hot on the outside, especially the control panel at the top but also the outside of the door. A few minutes after turning the oven off the clock is going off and the oven doesn’t work for a while, I’m guessing until it cools down and then it springs back into life again and works fine.

I couldn’t see anything obvious wrong but having read another post here about someone’s door dropping on another NEB oven I’m wondering if that’s the issue, allowing heat to escape. If not maybe a door seal although I couldn’t see anything obviously wrong with the door seal. Is there any way to test it?

Thanks for any suggestions as to what may be wrong. If there’s anything I can do myself before calling an engineer out to look at it that would be much appreciated.
