NEB Vicenza Mirr oven

We’ve got a NEB Vicenza Mirr oven that stopped working…well the oven part did, it’s the fan assisted oven and the part that’s stopped is the “main oven with fan”

It’s the 6th turn on the right-hand knob, a fan within a circle within a square, I checked the connections inside the top panel (with power off) and can’t see anything loose

Has anyone any ideas or had similar problems with this type of oven

Matty, when it’s in fan assisted mode is the fan running etc or does the whole oven go dead ?

The fan spins and the rest of the oven is fine, I can turn it to grill and it works ok

So basically no heat when in fan oven mode? Check the element behind the rear panel. Pull the plug first.

If you are not confident, check Directories or Repairs@ for a UKW repairer in your area.

How old is the oven???

If its less than a year old then Expert Appliance Care do the repairs under warranty on 0870 9099100

The oven is about 18 months old

I’ll hopefully post you the end result, cos the wife is sick of using the bloody grill… 😳

Hello all, thankyou for all your posts. 😆 The cooker is typically out of its warranty, isn’t it always the case!!!! 🙁 we don’t even know what the element looks like or where to find it so we are stuck like the perverbial river boat and paddle!!!! Gonna try to get a hold of the directories for repairs. I cant stand the smell of deep fried food so me and my other half are not seeing eye to eye at the moment seen as he threw the manual away in one of his infrequent spring cleaning frenzies, this is why women do it and men shouldn’t:lol: !!! Ar well wish him luck finding the problem, he is gonna need it. Thanks for all your help

Right lads you’ll be glad to know I got it fixed, a new element from a local place in Leeds (can’t remember the name), £32 incl VAT
