Necht integrated freezer

Hi everyone,

I am posting on behalf of my mum. She has an integrated Necht fridge and freezer.

I have looked for the serial number etc, but I think it is on a label at the back of the machine which is fitted into the kitchen furniture and I can’t get to it.

The problem is the doors have dropped on both fridge and freezer, and just recently the botton hinge on the freezer has snapped. She now has to open the fridge before opening the frezzer door! she has been into a whitegoods store locally and they have never heard of the make of appliance, but she needs a new door hinge.

Can anybody help?

Two of these in the same afternoon then on two differently branded fridges 😯

Is this it by any chance ?

A very common one but I’ll need to know whether it’s left or right handed.

That looks like it. I could say 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} if it was a picture of the open hinge, but it looks like a match.

It’s right handed. I presume that means the handle is on the left of the door!

Dave although these hinges look the part they are monkey metal at best.

The Servis style hinge does not fit and the model number of the fridge is N2(thats it) Freezer hinge is the same one …reckon the chinese strike again 🙂

Can’t get part numbers out of necht, sorry.
If you can open your picture I can say yes or no…no probs.

No, they aren’t very strong considering the weight of the wooden door 🙁

The units are made by Antonio Merloni in Italy who also own the Servis UK brand name and are bought and rebadged by MFI, Necht (Maple), Whirlpool, Hotpoint, Belling and others.

No wonder I sell vast quantities of these hinges 😉

It will be the correct hinge in that case, I’ve sold a few to fit the Necht models, lower right in your case which is 246009700.

Is it possible to get replacements or is there a better alternative?

I don’t want the other hinge to break on the freezer, especially this time of year!

No improved replacement I’m afraid, they seem to be identical to the original from the checks I’ve done.

got the hinge today. Just fitted and everything is back to normal.

where can I purchase a lower door hinge for my Necht fridge ?..?
I have two Necht Fridge… the sort with a wooden door which covers the fridge door. ALL the hinges keep breaking because of a design fault. Does anyone know where I can buy hinges for Necht fridges? The supplier I purchased the fridge from is virtually impossible to contact…either constantly engaged…or will not answer the phone.

If you chek the descriptions of 246009800 and 246009700 for their relative position on the fridge (top left, bottom right etc).
