well the relay wont be the cause its just the thing thats making a noise

was hoping it was a capaciitor fault but they look ok

it also may not be this board

    https://www.qualityelectronicrepairs.co.uk/

try contacting here and see if it can be repaired or tested

The guys have repaired the circuit board and now the freezer is cooling to the right temperature but the fridge side isn’t. The fridge is empty, the doors shut fine, the fan is running in the freezer and the condenser coils are clean. Any ideas what else to check?

to control the fridge temp there will normally be a motorised flap controlled by a temp sensor

first off as always in these cases, make sure all the board you had repaired connecters are sucure and in the correct place

I’ve just checked the connectors and they are all in place. The fan isn’t running (which it was before) and the compressor is warm to the touch.

if you trurned it off while it was running it takes a while to come back on as it needs to cool down

if the compressor is hot later on and its not freezing then we may have a serious problem

Thanks Dave. The compressor nis hot on and the fan used to work before the PCB was repaired so I think I’m at a loss now. Time for anew fridge maybe.
