    Hi
The 1 shot stat is a thermal overload ie over heat due to many reasons, fan failure, vent blockage etc.
Thew cycling stat is as it says, it cycles the temp of the drum to the correct working temp.
The relay is used where a low voltage and current can switch larger loads ie heating elements.

The relay on condenser dryers is a latching relay that ensures that someone has to be present to turn the appliance on. This is due to the large loading door which is large enough for a child to climb in.
