need help with an indesit we16

Would like some suggestions why i’m again changing carbon brushes after about 10 weeks. The washing machine is an Indesit we16 uk,about 5 yr old. The apeture on the motor looks quite worn, but not pitted. Would this cause the brushes to wear down this quickly. Can the apeture be changed or would the whole motor need to be changed. Also, I’ve just changed brushes and the motor is very noisy during use(specialy during spin, like a jet engine). any help appreciated.

thank helo 75 for the reply. I did think this would be the answer. I have just replaced another set of brushes today and also door handle. The question is now whether to purchase another motor in the preparation for the inevitable,or look to purchase a new machine? 😡 Any suggestions on best brands for new machines.

well, people in here will often point u to the ise… a good machine, good value with a lengthy warranty, yet at a price

reliable at a good price? bosch everytime, stay away from the hotpoint/indesit stuff and ull be somewhere around where u need to be

motor will be around 70-80 £ so it really is a bad idea if ur not sure
