Need help with connecting a fridge/freezer thermostat

I need to replace the thermostat in my Tecnik TKR6620/2 (853976115073) fridge freezer. A repair man came and replaced the faulty thermostat a couple of years ago but he put the wrong thermostat in which didn’t permit the auto defrost to work. Now I have got the correct thermostat with a new housing for it (as the repair man broke the original one!) and want to install it but I need to know which wires go to where. I haven’t taken the old one out yet so I don’t know what I’m going to be faced with, but if someone could help me with the connections I’d be very grateful. I could post photos of the original and new thermostat if that would be helpful.

There should only be three terminals plus earth so it shouldn’t be hard to work out.
