I need help with a Belling compact electric free-standing cooker. I need the complete top of the cooker, where the four rings attach to. The part is corroded badly underneath which is causing the ring spiders to fall off.

So what is this part called?? I have searched around online suppliers but cannot find anything in their lists.

It’s usually referred to as the hob top.

If you can give me the model and serial number I may be able to track it for you but, fair warning, if it’s old it may well be obsolete.

There were kits available to repair that at one point I think but it’s years since I looked at or for them.

It’s a Belling Compact Single Oven Model. I have looked everywhere for a serial and model number on the cooker but there is nothing.

I still have the instruction book and it mentions that the Single Oven model is Model 202.

The cooker is approx 5-6 years old and brown in colour if that’s any help?

Noting coming up for 202. But then instruction manuals are notorious for being wrong or generic.

There should be a rating plate somewhere on it that gives you the info and, if not, you may well struggle to get the right part. It’s sort of like saying that you need a bit for Ford with no other info.

where the lower door closes look inside the recess, also look on the back panel, there should be a rating plate without that you wont stand a chance, also in that colour i wouldnt hold out much hope of it still being available.
