    Hey All,

I think my oven needs a new oven selector. I have included a part which I am going to buy.

    https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/3201246 … tor-switch

It says it covers my oven but I thought best to ask experts if this part will work with the oven I have specified. Is this part correct?

I can’t get to the oven selector easily for this make as far as I can tell. Does anyone have a step by step guide to replacing this part?

    thanks in advance

if the shop said it will fit I would tend to believe them if not they would sort it

also you list 2 models. don’t use the instruction book to get details get it from the oven itself

Do I need any special tools to replace this part? I don’t need a soldering iron or anything, right?

It looks like I have to take out the oven to get to the oven selector for this model. Do you know if this is typical? Is it possible there is an easier way?

    thanks

couple of screw drivers and small pliers may help

yes oven has to come out and you need access to the screws at the front. some cookers you can just sneek a driver in and unscrew others you have to dismantle to get at them

when you do the wiring make sure you have no distractions and place switches next to each other and move one wire at a time ( take a picture before you start )
