We want to replace our built in white SMEG under counter fridge (FR158SE). The thermostat has been going wrong for a while and the inside door shelf broke so repairing wouldnt be much cheaper than replacing…

We’re quite happy to go with a different brand so if anyone can suggest something that will fit the space and is reliable and not too expensive then that would be great! We need something ASAP and would love suggestions of places to buy aswell…

    Thanks!

Ps. We’re looking to do the same with our built in oven (SE335WH). We are trying to stick with SMEG for that one though, as it needs to match with the hob we have above it… any advice on that welcomed too!

    HI

For the integrated larder fridge I would look at BSH group Bosch, Neff or Siemens very well made machines. Slightly less in budget the Gorenje RIU6154W with it`s five year warranty is a good buy.

There are plenty of Smeg single ovens to choose from. I would probably decide first which cooking functions are required before sifting through the vast number of models. Again as an alternative Neff are worth taking a peek at.

    HTH 🙂

Thanks Don. Helps a huge amount, thanks!

So, how do I know if these are going to fit in the space or not? And any advice on where to buy?

We’re planning on moving in not too long so these need to be snazzy enough to sell the house but dont need to last us forever as we’ll not be here and the new owners might well change everything anyway…

    Thanks again.
