I have a Neff S5443X1GB/29 that isn’t heating up. I thought the best place to start was the pcb to see if there was a dry joint on the heater switch. This seems to be a common problem.
I have got the door off the front and the cover so I can see the wires. How do I access the pcb to check it?
If this isn’t the problem I don’t think I will investigate further as I have read it is quite a big job.
You should check the resistance on the heater element first.
There are lots of threads on this and a search should get the info you need
even with pics………..showing how and where to measure.
If you have no resistance then the hardware is faulty if OK – likely board problem.
Either way fairly costly to fix unless you get lucky
Well there is no point messing with the pcb unless you know for sure the element is ok and its relatively simple to check resistance with a multimeter.
Yes the pcb comes out as described -you should take a few pics of the wiring
if you decide to proceed.
The damage should be obvious if there is any……..
