I did check all of that, there were no spare connections lying around, I wouldn’t have left it with a wire loose anyway…

I agree the push on connectors for the fan element are prone to being knocked off as you re-insert the fan element, but that’s woorking fine now, and the old fan element was definitely open circuit.

I’m kicking myself for not checking continuity on the grill element before I fitted it, I just assumed it would be ok straight out of the packet..

Anyway, I’ll check it again and see if I can get a replacement under warranty if it is Open circuit.
