Hi,
I’ve been to look at this, the fault was that the freezer was defrosting. As it was a Friday night I asked customer if he saw any frost on back panel,he did, and told him to leave doors open and defrost for 24 hours. I had a look on Monday and everything was down to temp. checked heater (.251) and probes (white plug= continuity, blue plug 18.1) The fan is DC and when I got everything back together the fan was running. The next day got a call, ice tray has water in and freezer not cold enough. When I arrived it was on a defrost and I could hear heater. I turned off and then on and compressor kicks in but fan did not (as it did on last visit) Customer checked last night and fan was working when comp. on but not when off (is this normal?). I’m guessing it’s a faulty fan but not sure. It’s a long shot but does anyone have a service manual or any experience of faults on these. Thanks
