Neff B1120W1/GB/03 fan and element

New element fitted, now element will heat up or the fan will run but not both at the same time. All wiring is correct as far as I can see. Both will work together if I disconnect the thermostat, is the thermostat faulty?

There are 3 wires fitted on the element. I wouldn’t mind betting one isn’t connected?

…….and make sure you’re not selecting circotherm grilling which does alternately switch between the grill element and fan 😀

Thanks for your thoughts on this one. Martin was almost right. The customer had fitted the new element then called me when the fan wouldn’t work. All three wires were fitted to the element but not correctly. Fortunately he hadn’t got the combination that would have tripped the fuse. Otherwise he might have spotted his mistake straight away… and so might I!!
