KeymasterI have a Neff B1320 oven. The RCD tripped yesterday and now the oven will not heat up. The grill still works.
The RCD will still trip when switching between off/defrost/circotherm/grill.
Is it just the main oven heater that has failed? The light failed about 5 days before and the oven has been cooking too quickly recently.
The oven can be started but the element does not heat up.Many thanks

Yes almost certainly faulty fan oven element but be careful as you may also have a faulty themostat 🙁
When you say oven heating too quickly , do you mean burning the food and generally much hotter than you expect when you open oven door ❓Bryan

The food has been cooking quicker than it should. The temperature does not feel too hot.
If it was the thermostat then wouldn’t that affect the grill/ Used the grill tonight and the thermostat cut it out when it was too hot.August 17, 2005 at 9:03 pm #145162Bryan

The thermostat controls the oven temperature so from what you say it would appear to be functioning correctly.
Not really possible for food to cook quicker than normal without increase in oven temperature.
Anyway I would suggest you have fan element replaced and take it from there.
If you post the full model number E-NR B1320……..(followed by some more letters and numbers) then I`m sure the correct element can be supplied or you could check repairs@ and have the complete job carried out and checked by a UKW engineer. :tup:Power off if you decide to have a go yourself :zap:

Hi
I have this same oven and the light has stopped working. Nothing else has stopped working or changed. It’s just under 2 years old. Do you think it’s just the bulb that’s gone?
If so, how do I replace it, and do you sell the bulb?
Thanks

Almost certainly the bulb. It will tell you how to change it in your user manual, basically the bulb cover has to be removed and the bulb will unscrew. Please ensure the power is off at the time.
The bulb will either be a 15w, 25w or 40w ses lamp which can be found here:

ParticipantRe: Neff B1320 Oven
Looking at the spares diagram it appears to unscrew (anti-clockwise normally)
It will be tight though so please be careful as I’ve known these shatter when too much force is applied.
Dave.
