    Hi

We’ve got a Neff B1322N1GB built-in fan oven + grill on order and due to be delivered early next week and I’m just trying to get everything ready for it. Our current oven ( Diplomat ADP3101 fan oven + grill ) is just wired into a 13A plug that fits into a socket behind the unit, under the worktop.

I believe the Neff is rated at 2.8Kw ( I think the Diplomat is around 2.3Kw ), so will I be able to use the same method ie 13A plug or will I need to get a proper cooker socket installed. If the latter, can these be connected to the normal ring ( 2.5mm T+E ) or will it require a heftier cable? I’ve not checked the wiring yet so it may already use bigger cable.

    Any advice much appreciated.

Will be fine on 13 amp plug, unless installation instructions say different.

Max load will be roughly 11.5 amps 😉

Many thanks for that Superfix. That’s the answer I was hoping for.
