Neff B1420 oven

Hi, i am trying to find out how to change the thermostat on the oven mentioned above. The oven will only partially warm up but will not heat up to the temperature which has been set. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Is the fan in the oven at the back running ok?

Hi Greg,

Thanks for your reply. The fan at the back of the oven isn’t running although i could see the element next to the fan heating up from cold. Is it likely that the motor has burnt out and if so, is it an expensive item to replace?

Off the top of my head £60+ the usual.
If you can supply the full model number which will be around the main oven door opening, I can get you the p/no fo ryours.

Is it easy to get to the motor to change it?

You will need p/no BS14106 for the fan unit complete and from experience you would do well to replace the circular element aswell. p/no
ELE2044. Both spares available from spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk

The element can be changed form the front but the fan motor will require access to front and rear.

Power off if you are to attempt yourself or find an engineer from the link below 😀
