Hi, I have a Neff oven ENR B16P42N0GB/04 & FD 9109 00104. The oven bulb blew, I have replaced it and the lamp is still not working. I have removed the oven and checked the connections to the bulb holder (pink and black/white striped wires). There is no power to the bulb holder when the controller is set to “oven light”. There is no sign of any damage. Do you have any suggestions? Keith

when select lamp you should hear a faint click from the relay controlling it

with the power off lift the power board and check for damaged print. Sometimes lamps go with a bang this can weld relays or blow board tracks like a fuse , or both

its actually a zero ohm resistor they are using as a fuse

hard to judge sizes by the pic so would need case measurements for the component

will look around but its the sort of component you could well have to buy 50 off to get one

Cheers Dave – I’ll measure up and check online as well. There may be another one gone as well (possible burn mark on one end) so may need 2 in the end.

since they are effectively zero ohms or very close a multi meter continuity (buzz) setting will test them

Both zero ohm resistors have blown. I’ll resort to getting a new PCB

that’s a bit expensive when all it needs is 2 new resistors

I agree and will try to fix it before having to buy a new board. I The resistors are marked with a a single “0”. I tried Farnell and RS but could not be certain about finding a replacement (and without buying a 5,000 unit reel). Do you have nay suggestions Dave?

you need to figure out the case size first as the pic give me no idea of measurements

once you figure out the case identification which will be something like 2512 then go digging

    found this on ebay
