I’ve done some searching on this error and the advice (not in here) is to switch between Pyrolysis and Rotisserie three times. My oven doesn’t have the rotisserie function so I’ve tried a substituting for the programmes with the fan function instead to no avail.

Does anyone have any advice on what’s going on and what the fix is, please?

    Thanks

    Re: NEFF B4540 E15 error – FIXED

I managed to figure this out….

Using the French user guide I determined that the ‘Spit’ symbol referred to during my web searches (which my oven doesn’t have) corresponds to the Top Heat function [symbol with a single unbroken horizontal bar across the top] immediately to the left of the Pyrolysis symbol.

From there the fix was to start by turning the dial clockwise (I think?) to the Pyrolysis position then quickly back and forth between the Top Heat position and back to Pyrolysis 4x. When you get it right every LED display segment and all of the icons come on. From there turn the dial to the normal ‘off’ position and the oven is reset.

    Phew!
The fan sounds ‘clunky’, perhaps that caused my E15 error, just need to source a replacement. 😀

Wow AndrewT – it’s now 25 November 2023 and you’ve just provided me with the solution to what seemed to be an unfixable problem with my (rather old) Neff B4540N0EU/01 FD8604 built-in oven. You have saved my bacon…or perhaps I should say ‘turkey’! Thank you 🙂
