Hi guys, any known overheating faults with modern bosch ovens? customer complained of it getting very very hot on a small temp like 50oC, iv replaced the potentiometer and the sensor-ptc, and the customer is still complaining of overheat, the next thing im thinking to swap is the control module (connect dont mention is it needs programming?) … hope iv not missed anything else before ordering up £120 part etc… thanks …..Simonb

always go to Neff website to check part numbers

    programmed board part no 11047497

but I would check other things first. find the relay that controls the element and see if its stuck with contacts closed. you say it gets hot but don’t say if it does switch off the element or keeps getting hotter and hotter which could be a relay fault

Just to echo what Dave said, I have had several of this range of oven with relays stuck on and changing the affected relay has always cured it.

Thanks Dave yes the customer says it get very very hot but you would think the overheat stat would switch that off, and yes that matches the pcb thanks for that number…

And Jem i used to keep lots of small pcb components but im not sure if the customer would wait for me to find the correct relay and order one, thanks for your tip, may look into getting some ready in future….

    Thanks again guys
