Neff bloody warming draw

Neff warming draw, or life support machine if the customers reaction to not being able to fix first time is anything to go by.
model N7290N1gb04 only ever changed the socket at the rear of draw in the past on these to cure most faults, this one has a flashing red light after a while which then goes dim. No heat on draw bottom but fan and heater at side works ok. Assuming it is socket fault but as a heavy combo microwave is sitting on it I didnt want to pull it out before getting the part. can anyone add anything?

I have sold loads of them, never fixed one in 32 years, pretty robust tbh.
It looks like you will have to slot it out, the oven above should just be sitting on top and hopefully the installer has left a long enough cable on it so you can stick it on your workmate!

I’ve had a broken ‘plug’ on the actual drawer . Easy enough to take the drawer out IIRC to check . Certainly sounds llike a lack of connection at rear.

Thanks. I do know how to fix them, just wondering if anyone had a power module failure or anything other than the plug/socket.

well this thing defeated me today. Still just a random flashing light after a few seconds. Tests show(after the damn microwave is off the top of it)that the draw element is not being powered up and somehow the pcb must know this and is shutting down just as it would had the draw not been closed or the draw socket faulty. Have to assume one of the 2 relays on the pcb are faulty, new board £150 inc vat (this pcb about 4cm x 4cm in size!) Customer has located a new one for £300 so is going for that instead.
