Neff built in microwave e3

Hi,
Neff HLAWD23N0B/02 built in micro wave oven.
Door won’t open and shows a “E3” error.
When the door open touch pad symbol is touched the m/c just makes a whirring noise for a few seconds and the “E3” is displayed.
Any ideas?

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the response.
Yes that was my thoughts.
The latch assy comes complete with motor and 2 x micro switches and retails at £23.29.
If the motor is bought on its own it retails at £31.26 which is bizarre.
I’ll order a latch assy and give that a try.
Gotta be worth a punt.
