Neff built in oven grill dropped down

Hello our older Neff oven has suffered a dropped grill and cover plate which were both attached to the oven top. There are adjacent holes in both plate and grill bracket but there seems to be no way of fixing by screw to the oven top. Has anyone experienced this and if so how did you fix it

have had similar problems where the screw hole rusts over time till it wont hold

you either need to drill another hole somewhere else or as i do in the later ones manufacture some kind of bracket
