Neff C18MT37N0B/06 oven/micro turns off after 5 seconds

As title Neff C18MT37N0B/06 oven/micro turns off after 5 seconds just started tonight
i’m away from home so need to wait until eldest son comes home to 3 pin power to its as i cant get to socket so need to turn it off on mains board.
Questions are what can it be thats failed and repair cost, its 2 years 9 months old so should Neff repair for free as its a £850 ish device. Thanks for your help in advance

Neff microwaves are built on Panasonic technology and are normally very reliable

I am assuming the oven (hot) works ok but the microwave side of it causes problems

As the unit starts the electronics detects the microwave component and check to see if the Magnetron has powered up ok. If the answer is no then the unit aborts the programme

there is a fuse for just the microwave part that my have blown but beyond that you are heading to dangerous ground with lethal voltages. This is not a job for the untrained

As for warranty its covered for 2 years anything after that is down to the discretion on Neff who may or may not help you out as a loyal customer

Yes its just the microwave , oven works ok

if its a fuse can you tell what size it will be and can i change it, i wouldn’t go any further than a fuse replacement

fuse is 8A 20mm antisurge microwave fuse

its not the fuse as it was working this morning but stopped within 5 mins, spoke to local repairers and they dont touch NEFF and the one’s i search for have terrible reviews. Appointment arranged with NEFF £99 + parts but as its a £1000 + to replace i hope its nothing major.

found the problem, the door wasn’t closing properly , soon as it was cleared it worked fine
