    Does any one know how this lamp socket assy is fitted meaning is it done from the inside only as there seems to be no access from removing the top cover on the outside BSH498652

    Looking at the parts schematic it appears to clip in place from the inside. But to unclip it you would have to remove all the fan unit and stuff above it to the release the lugs. Check out the drawing and you’ll see what I mean. And the part number has changed to 00499649.

    Thanks but after removing the fan above its just the metal top with on sign of the lamp assy

    That too has to come off by the looks of. Check the schematic and see what you need take off for access.
