ParticipantCustomer complains of E19 error. Newer type neff dish washer. S51M66X0GB/B1 (Fd 9507)
Upon calling, i set machine on quick wash and it fills, starts the wash action. But, after about 2 minutes E19 is displayed and the machine stops.
Heating element ok. Not OC, Not down to Earth
Heat exchanger valve (LHS tank) is not open circuit. Tested from wires that attatch to control board so as to rule out broken wires/loose connections.
No visible signs of damage on main control pcb situated lower right (where the kettle lead plugs).
However, a distinct acrid burning smell which i couldnt fully locate, not the most overwhelming smell, but definately something there. Seemed like it was coming from the control pcb though.Any ideas, please? And is there a way of resetting the error e19?
After testing things (machine unplugged for 20 mins) and re-trying error e19 is locked in display. Machine can not be reset or cancelled?
Thanks all.

Still no further forward with this one. I returned today to double check the things i tested first visit.
I can only assume the control module is faulty.
The E19 error is present a second or two after the machine is switched on.
It briefly flashes the program length (2.15 etc) but immediately changes to E19.
Cant reset the fault or get the machine to do anything.

Dump valve Solenoid isnt open circuit though? I even tested from the control terminal through the wiring.
I messaged Bosch and they are suggesting a possible heatpump fault. Which is handy as i have one of those on order for another job which i can briefly hook on to see..
Thanks for the reply, though

Error E19 still present after replacing heatpump.
Do these machines have an error reset proceedure?
I am ready to give up and let neff take over

UPDATE: I did indeed refer the customer to Neff. She has kindly given me an update for future reference:
Neff engineer replaced Heat Exchanger valve to no avail. (As I said, it was not faulty!)
He then tried a new control module, but couldn’t get it synced with the machine. So, he has a new pre-proggrammed module on order.
Looks like the control module is indeed at fault.
Annoying as I even messaged Bosch/Neff directly. First they said it was heat exchanger or heatpump, then they were talking about the tablet dispenser. None of which were at fault imo. Sigh!
